Seascape Shawl

This shawl is the perfect summer accessory. It’s lightweight, airy, and has amazing drape and texture. This shawl would be perfect paired with short and a t-shirt or use it as a cover up at the beach. You could even dress it up by pairing it with a dress (like I did in these pictures). I know this shawl is going to be my go-to accessory this summer

Side note: Thanks to my boyfriend for taking these pictures on our little patio. I made this pattern while we were quarantined so we couldn’t go out and photograph this pattern at the beach like I originally wanted to.

Something I am very excited about is that this pattern is a featured design on Yarn Punk! You can check out the post here.

Want to make one for yourself? You can get the ad-free PDF on Etsy or Ravelry.

Pin 2_ Seascape Shawl

This pattern uses my new favorite yarn; coboo by Lion Brand. Lately I have been obsessed with this yarn (check out my Instagram feed to see). It is the perfect summer garment yarn. This yarn is a combo of bamboo and cotton which is the perfect combination for incredible drape. I thought I was in love with this shawl, but then I steam blocked it and fell more in love with it! This yarn really opens up when you block it. I think that blocking this shawl made it even more airy and added to the already incredible drape.
