Hi all! I’m back with a super simple new pattern. Now presenting the Quick & Easy Scrunchie!
This pattern uses Bernat Velvet yarn. I LOVE this yarn. It is such a soft yarn. It is also a bulky weight yarn which means it can work up fast. I showed this scrunchie to a friend and she loved them. Her birthday was the next day and I was actually able to make a few of these scrunchies that same night to add into her birthday present.
Pin this pattern for later!
For this pattern you’ll need:
- Small amount of bernat velvet yarn
- Size J/6.00mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Elastic hair tie
Pattern:
Begin by attaching the yarn to the hair tie with a slip stitch
Round 1: Chain 1. Make 30 sc around the hair tie.
Round 2: Chain 2. Place 2 dc in the first stitch. Place 3 hdc in the next stitch. * Place 3 dc in the next stitch. Place 3 hdc in the next stitch* Repeat between * * till the end of the round. Slip stitch into the top of the ch 2 (30).
Finishing off:
Cut the yarn from the ball and weave in the ends. Be sure to weave the ends back and forth in the same place a few times to secure the ends in.
That’s it! Wasn’t that super quick and easy?
