Pattern: Pocket Cup Cozy

IMG_8952.jpg

Gift cards are the perfect quick and easy gift for anyone on your list! Something that everyone loves receiving is a coffee shop gift card. This gift card cup cozy is a cute and thoughtful way to provide something a little special to your gift card. I created this pattern when I needed a holiday gift for some coworkers. I bought a reusable coffee cup, slipped the cozy on it and added a handwritten note in with the gift card. It was a more personal way to give a gift than just a gift card in an envelope.

These cozies would be perfect for teacher gifts, holidays, stocking stuffers, bridesmaid gifts, bachelorette party favors and more! You could even use the pocket for more than just gift cards. You could add some cash or a handwritten note inside.

If you sell handmade goods, you could also make these cozies to sell in your Etsy shop or at craft markets. Pair them with a coffee cozy template and they would be perfect on your table.

My favorite use for this cozy is the environmental benefit. This cozy is designed to fit a standard reusable coffee cup. Using reusable cups is a great way to reduce your daily plastic use. By adding your own crochet sleeve you also reduce your paper use by not using store provided paper cozies.
