Citrus Tank Top

As summer is coming to an end I am finding myself wanting to soak up all that sunshine before it cools down again. I was inspired by summer fruits to create the citrus tank top. For this test, I asked my testers to create their own versions inspired by fruits.

This pattern uses DK weight yarn. I used yarn I got from Explorer Knits Italy Collection. I used the color way “Limoncello” and it is just the perfect color for summertime. I am usually not drawn to yellows or greens but I had to have this color when I first saw it. So I bought a few skeins and waited for inspiration to strike to come up with a design using it.

Here’s a bit about the design:

  • The pattern is written to include sizes XS-5XL.
  • Cups made separately and attached
  • Worked top-down
  • Minimal seaming
  • Body is worked in herringbone half double crochet
  • Cross-back straps
  • Picot edging

This pattern is available on both Etsy and Ravelry.
