This pattern is my latest obsession! I got interesting in making earrings after I hopped on the crafty loop bandwagon (seriously, those things are addicting!)
If you’ve been following along with me for a little while you know already that I love granny squares. I have a few designs using this technique. I have used this technique to make a bag and a shrug. I love granny squares because they are so simple to make and the customization options are endless.
These earrings are the latest granny square pattern to my collection (and I’m sure it won’t be the last!) A pair of these earrings can be whipped up in just 15 minutes! These earrings would be the perfect for:
- bachelorette party favors
- bridesmaid gifts
- birthday gift for her
- teacher gifts
- craft market prep last minute gifts
- and so many more!
Pin this pattern for later on Pinterest!
Now without further or do, here’s the pattern! If you would like an ad-free pdf copy of the pattern you can purchase it from my Ravelry or Etsy shops. Thank you so much for your support of my small business!

Round 2:
Ch 3. In the first ch 2 space of the previous row [ 3dc, ch 2, 3 dc]. Ch 1. In the next ch 2 space [ 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc]. Ch 1. In the next ch 2 space [3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc]. Ch 1. In the last ch 2 space [ 3 dc, ch 2, 2 dc]. Sl st to the second chain of the initial ch 3.
Fasten off and weave in ends. Attach fish hook earrings using round nose pliers. Attach fish hook earring finding to the middle of the granny square. I attached mine to one of the ch 1 spaces.
